D.C. WHITE JAZZ NATION AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I was born on May 14,1969, in a part of the city most people would consider the bad part of New Orleans, but that was not my reality. My mother made sure that I went to the schools that were considered the best of New Orleans, she also made sure that I went to the schools where I could develop my love for the ARTS that is music and writing. After Graduating I moved to California where I continued to educate myself in music. l lived there with my auntie and uncle and attended College. My Uncle was a music producer and we would spend hours talking about different groups and listeing to all kinds of music.

My birth name is, Dwight Calhoun. I am also known as D.C.White "The Buffalo Solider". . . In the early years, around 2000, I saw a need to educate our youth about their history so I created a company called, History Records and Entertainment. I took History and put it in a musical form so that school children would develop interest and truly respect and understand their History. This type of music educated and kept both (youth and adults), interested and motivated. I am also a radio personality on W M P R 90.1, in Jackson Mississippi.

My lifelong dream is to educate and to uplift as many people as I can through music, art, and to make life inspirational, so here is, D.C. WHITE NATION RADIO . . . Where jazz and R&B are on the one!
